The Down Syndrome Centre North East provides access to therapeutic services, social activities, social events, training and information for children and young people with Down Syndrome, their families and the associated professional community in the North East of Ireland, which thereby enables and empowers them to reach their full potential.
2024 was a very exciting year with corporate partnerships with both Irish Life and Castle Leslie which enabled us to step back from a big fundraising event for a year and just enjoy providing even more services and supports to the growing numbers of families that use and access DSCNE. We also got the keys to a brand new unit in our current building space at the end of the year. which will allow us to continue our growth in 2025.
Here is a review of the regular free and/or heavily subsidised dedicated therapeutic therapies we offered. In addition to these we also offer various activities, events and supports for the whole family.
As a local charity, we rely on donations and fundraising. It is YOU who help fund this wide range of services and supports. Thank you for helping us to help make a difference to the children and their families, across the North East region.
