A wonderful opportunity for DSCNE families to get together socially kindly supported by Monaghan County Libraries. Limited numbers will attend morning workshops and then everyone is invited for refreshments and a family friendly circus style show. You must pre-book a ticket for entry to the event

About the Event

In the morning there will be two 40-minute workshops for children with DS to attend (numbers will be limited to approx. 15 per workshop) from 10.00am.

Minimum age to attend workshops aged 3 years and above:

  1. Funky Feet - Dance/Drama session
  2. HA HA Hats for Happiness -Visual Arts session

If numbers permit, siblings of these families will have their own Visual Arts workshops to create some Easter crafts, or be included in the above workshops.

Siblings aged over 13 will be invited to assist as VIP volunteers with the workshops and tasks throughout the day.

Numbers are limited for Health and Safety, as well as adequate supervision and enjoyment of the workshops.

The first 30 families to respond with booking tickets will be invited to attend the workshops and emailed about this separately. You will receive email confirmation to state whether you have a place at the workshop, or to attend later in the morning for refreshments and show only.

A waiting list will also apply in the case of any cancellations.

For all other families, you are invited to attend from 11.30am.

Tea, coffee and scones will be provided to parents/guardians from 11am - 11.45am

Lunch for children from 12.00-12.30pm

Please book the correct number of tickets as these will be linked to your food vouchers provided to you at registration. 

You must have pre booked tickets to gain entry.

Everyone is invited to attend the family friendly circus style performance with "Ballet Poulet." 

Registration will close at 12.30pm and no entry after this time.

We will begin seating at 12.45pm for a 1pm prompt start.

The show will last approx. 45 minutes and will be the finale to our day. We anticipate ending the day around 2pm.

Please do not enter the event if: you or any family members are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 or you are feeling feverish, or if you have been in close contact of a confirmed case.

Tickets sales will be closed on 6th April 11.59pm to allow us to give final numbers for workshops and catering purposes.
