A Night in the Spotlight

The Down Syndrome Centre North East is a dedicated centre based in Carrickmacross and provides services & supports to over 90 children with Down Syndrome & their families across counties Cavan , Monaghan, Louth & Meath.

We are a charity organisation managed by a voluntary Board of Directors. As a charity, we are heavily dependent on fundraising, and our next big fundraiser is this fashion & variety show. This is building on the success of our previous show held in April 2019 where 50 models with Down Syndrome took to the catwalk, and helped raise €36,000.

Fashion

Our Fashion Show will be MC'd by RTE Weather Presenter, Gerry Murphy alongside Caroline McElroy, Fashion Stylist & TV Presenter. 55 fabulous models who happen to have Down Syndrome will showcase the latest styles with some very special guests in attendance!

Fun & Entertainment

The audience will be entertained by local legend & singer-songwriter, Marty Mone, who is best known for his song’s Hit The Diff and Slip The Clutch.

Following from their fabulous "Dancing with the Stars" performance with Denys Samson, the amazing Barn Door Creative Studios will dazzle with their energetic dance routines.

Auction, Raffle & More!

A silent & live auction is sure to offer something of interest to all of our event audience.

There will be a raffle for some amazing prizes as well as the chance to purchase some fabulous gifts in advance of the festive shopping frenzy!

Online Raffle

As part of our fundraiser, we are running an online raffle for a chance to win a hotel voucher at the Radisson Hotel & Spa Sligo. This includes two nights B&B for two adults, with a 2-course meal on one night. Valid Midweek and excluding July & August.
