Early Intervention Groups

DSCNE runs three types of early intervention play and activity groups for:

1) Parent and toddlers

2) Preschoolers

3) School Readiness

The classes are run by Louise, our Early Intervention Teacher. Louise has worked with children with Additional Needs for over 10 years. She has a Masters in Applied Behaviour Analysis and is PEC’S trained. She also is a Lámh Family Tutor and is registered with the Teaching Council and Garda Vetted. Every group is assisted by Kathy, our dedicated support worker.

Early Intervention and School Readiness Groups

Early Intervention and School Readiness is for children aged approx. 2.5 - 6 years of age. Each session is 2-hours. Parents drop children off and can watch and listen to the session from the viewing room. This group is aimed at promoting preschool and school readiness.
